Da una collaborazione tra Non Una di Meno - Torino e le donne dello Spazio popolare Neruda: GIOVEDì 27 FEBBRAIO - ORE 17.30 PRESENTAZIONE DEL LIBRO FUTURE. IL DOMANI NARRATO DALLE VOCI DI OGGI con le co-autrici Marie Moïse e Esperance Hakuzwimana Ripanti "Future" non è solo un libro di narrativa in cui 11 donne afrodiscendenti provano a scorgere un futuro (forse) migliore. La curatrice del libro, Igiaba Scego, nel cercare le voci di queste donne ha voluto lanciare un J'accuse e situare un punto di vista che, in un paese intriso di razzismo e sessimo come l'Italia, viene reso invisibile. Trincerate nella loro finta "whiteness" e paternalismo, Scego punta il dito contro istituzioni, forze politiche, enti formativi, editoria, ma anche contro i movimenti che hanno lasciato sol* le figlie e i figli de* migranti quando era ora di lottare per ottenere il "riconoscimento" come italian* attraverso la riforma sulla cittadinanza. Ma a che punto siamo arrivat* ora? Che spazi si aprono per le donne non bianche in un'occasione come lo sciopero transfemminista globale dell'8/9 Marzo? Con queste domande vorremmo cominciare a discutere tutte insieme a partire dall'atto di ascoltare le voci di queste donne raccolte nel libro. IL DOMANI NARRATO DALLE VOCI DI OGGI" with two of co-writer Marie Moïse and Esperance H. Ripanti "Future" isn't only a narrative book where 11 afro-descendants women try to find a better future (if it's possible...). Igiaba Scego, the editor of this book, want to claim her "J'accuse" while she's finding the voices of these women. She wants to place a point of view made invisible by a nation surrounded of sexism and racism like Italy. Scego denote all the istitutions, political forces, educational agencies, publishings, but also the social movements as locked in their "whitness" and pathernalistic mentality. They left alone the children of migrants people when it was the time of fighting for win the "identification" as italians with the nationality reformation. But where are we arrived now? Which spaces are there for not-white women in an opportunity like the Global Transfemist Strike on 8/9th of March? We want to discuss starting from these questions all together and we want to begin listening the voices of these women collected in this book. During the presentation there will be whispered translation in english, arab and french.
